SAT scores are sent to colleges electronically on a rolling basis.
The College Board delivers rush scores two to three days a week, typically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Non-rush scores ordered outside of registration are delivered once a week, generally on Wednesdays. Please note that, because of scheduling conflicts, scores may be delivered on different days or less frequently.
Schedule for 2017-18
Beginning in October, we’ll be delivering SAT scores to students and institutions more quickly. Here’s what you need to know:
- In October, November, December, March, and May, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math scores will be released to students about two weeks after test day.
- Students who take the SAT with Essay will get essay scores five days after their multiple-choice scores become available.
- Scores are sent to colleges within 10 days after students receive all their scores, including SAT Essay scores if they took the essay.
- For the August and June SAT, scores may take longer—up to six weeks.
